In the dawn of the twenty-first century with better reproduction technology and the growing influence of pop-art and lowbrow art, the dividing line between commercial art and fine art has never more blurry. A growing number of artists are playing in this borderland, switching sides with fluidity and ease.  The inaugural show presents art influenced by comic book in a variety of different mediums. Some draw from super-hero kitsch, others make new use of  the single panel cartoonist form, and others borrow from the rich illustrative tradition.
